Our creation Is a remarkably smooth combination of corn, rye and barley. Once distilled, we age our bourbon for two years in new barrels made of American oak producing a rich, deep yet sweet spirit that Is a pleasure to Imbibe. We bottle our bourbon at 90 proof. Best enjoyed neat.
Now that our masterpiece is bottled, we begin our Inspirational, finishing work. Unlike traditional finished whiskey, we do not rest our whiskey in a secondary cask, but finish our whiskey "in-bottle". We do this by resting the cask, or more precisely, a spiral cut piece of wood in our bottle. This in-spire-ation, or as we call it, our spire, is made of American Oak, slightly toasted and precisely crafted to impart sweet notes and balance.
Fire and heat are used to toast our spires, extracting botanicals and flavor expressions that are imparted to our bourbon and finishing our spirit. For Bourbon & Spire, we expose the spire to a medium toast to extract naturally occurring vanilla & coconut botanicals from the wood.
